haha the first race i did was! When I was done I was bouncing off the walls with adrenaline. The unpredictability of the chop from other jetski's and from waves + the spray of the ski in front of you is very disorienting. It also takes every bit of strength and stamina you posses.

When do they do jetski races there? That would be a cool thing to watch one of these weekends.

I dont know if there is still a race there, the tour I was on kinda turned to shit. The years I did it they were the same weekend as the red bull air show.

back in the 80's, I don't even know how those guys could keep those 550's upright. I've ridden them several times and they are a far cry from the stability you get from the 800 pictured above.

ahhh, I know they still do hydroplane races there. so who knows.
